He also worked on holiday-themed films like “Mother’s Day” and “Valentines Day”, which featured Taylor Swift and her then-lover, “Twilight” actor Taylor Lautner. As he told EWearlier this year , “I believe in fairy tales, and I believe other people do too”. “I met him when I was a child who thought she was a grown-up; he treated me with grace and patience and respect and always, always love”, she said, going on to share his advice that, “You never know if a movie is going to be a hit or not. We lost a giant today”. His funeral services will be private, but his publicist said there is a memorial planned for his birthday on November 13.
