Prez Zardari knew Laden’s presence in Abbottabad, claims ex-Pak minister
Four years after the USA Navy SEALs liquidated probably the most needed man in the world, Osama bin Laden, the founder and head of the Islamist militant group al-Qaeda, Pakistan’s former defence minister Chaudhary Ahmad Mukthar revealed that the whereabouts of Laden in Abbottabad was recognized to the then President Asif Ali Zardari.

CNN-IBN on Tuesday claimed to have exposed what it called “Pakistan’s link with Osama” by repeatedly showing short clips of an interview its anchor Zakka Jacob conducted of Pakistani ex-defence minister Ahmed Mukhtar. Laden was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 2, 2011, by United States Navy SEALs of the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group (also known as DEVGRU or SEAL Team Six).
