Olson also says that there were no “visible signs of trauma” on Prince’s body and that there is no reason to believe that his death was a suicide.

A representative from the Medical Examiner’s Office said that the autopsy included a full panel of tests, including tissue and toxicology samples.
The complete lab results from the autopsy may take days or weeks, according to Martha Weaver, a spokesperson for the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
He said Prince was last seen at 8pm the night before his death when he was dropped off at Paisley Park. His body has since been released to his family.
He said some of the responders were carrying Narcan, a drug used as an antidote for drug overdoses, but did not use it.
A cause of death for Prince remains “pending” following the completion of an initial autopsy on Friday (22Apr16).
Speaking at the Foreign Office in a joint press conference with David Cameron, the U.S. president said: “I love Prince because he put out great music and he was a great performer”.
Police found the 57-year-old singer/songwriter unresponsive inside an elevator at his Paisley Park home just outside Minneapolis on Thursday (21Apr16), and paramedics were unable to revive him. He said Carver County authorities had not received any medical calls at Paisley Park involving Prince directly in the past year.
“Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson reports that on April 21, 2016, at about 9:43 am, sheriff’s deputies responded to a medical call at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen. I can’t dispel them all”, Olson said.
“He seemed great. He looked like Prince”, he said.
“This is certainly a big event internationally and nationally”, he said. An autopsy is now being carried out but officials have advised that results may take weeks to come back.
Sales of Prince’s music soared after news broke of his death, and fans continued to leave floral tributes at Paisley Park.
“This is a tragedy for all of us”, Olson told reporters. “To you, Prince Rogers Nelson was a celebrity; to us, he’s a community member and a good neighbour”.

Prince had been rushed to hospital in IL six days earlier, while flying home from a concert in Georgia, but was treated and released a few hours later.
