The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted Obama and wife Michelle for an informal dinner at Kensington Palace in London last night, after which photographs were released of the guests kneeling down to shake hands with the young prince in his pyjamas.

During the trip, Obama also met with British Prime Minister David Cameron and commemorated Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday at Windsor Castle.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have also invited the Obamas to have dinner with them at Kensington Palace this evening.
When George was born in July 2013, President Obama congratulated Kate and William on the birth of their son.

The Obamas did not get to meet Princess Charlotte, but chatted in the Drawing Room of Apartment 1A Kensington Palace before dinner.
