Prince began his Instagram adventure on Friday, posting a pic of himself titled, “PURPLE SILHOUETTE”.
Nearly a year since he deleted his Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts, the Purple Rain mastermind has clearly decided social media is worth another pop, after discovering the fun that can be had with photo editing. Can you imagine Prince staging this photo?
He’s also had a shot a creating memes, mostly based on comedian Dave Chappelle’s infamous portrayal of him as a pancake-making, basketball-loving oddball.
John Shearer/John Shearer/Invision/AP The once anti-Internet Prince is now ready to dazzle us with his #nofilter skills. He said of his decision to put his new album out through Tidal, “Jay allowed us to pick the artwork, design the page, choose the related content.
