Prince overdosed on Percocet six days before his death

TMZ claimed that his private jet made a emergency landing in IL on Friday so that the singer could be given a “save shot”, which is administered to counteract the effects of an opiate.

Creative Commons Police responded to a medical emergency at the singer’s Paisley Park estate in Minnesota.

Sources in Moline, where the “Purple Rain” artist was rushed to the hospital early April 15, reportedly told the website that EMTs administered a “save shot” to Prince at the airport, to counteract the painkiller overdose.

Powell said she then saw Prince sitting by himself on a sidewalk.

Doctors treated Prince for a drug overdose just six days before his death, TMZ reported late Thursday citing multiple unnamed sources.

A press release from the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office said, “Midwest Medical Examiners Office will not release information until the exam is complete and all results are obtained”.

Though he didn’t perform, he told the crowd: “Wait a few days before you waste any prayers”.

Though we likely won’t know anything for a few weeks, rumors and speculation are swirling around his death.

Asked whether there was any reason to believe foul play was involved, Sheriff Olson said: “We have no reason to believe at this time it was a suicide, the rest of it is under investigation”.

This is a truly sad day for the entertainment industry, as Prince was one of the most iconic singers and performers of our generation.

Prince – who had used a cane to help him get around for many years – had long needed a double hip replacement but reportedly turned it down on numerous occasions but he was anxious it would require a blood transfusion, which would have conflicted with his beliefs as a Jehovah Witness.

Rest in purple, Prince.
