Prince’s doctor stumbled upon death scene while delivering test results
An anonymous law enforcement source told the Associated Press that the investigation is focused on whether the singer died of an overdose and the doctors who were prescribing Prince medication in the weeks before his death. The day after the latter appointment, the doctor, who had prescribed medication for Prince and ordered tests, turned up at the star’s Paisley Park compound to discover that his patient was already dead.

According to the Minnesota Star Tribune, Dr Schulenberg no longer works at North Memorial, although it is unclear why.
Authorities said they have not found a valid prescription for opioid medication, either on Prince’s person or at Paisley Park.
The doctor came to Prince’s house on the day of this death to drop off test results and was there when detectives arrived.
The doctor from North Memorial Medical Center treated the musician on April 7, the day he postponed his Atlanta shows, Hollywood Reporter reported.
He was eventually found in the elevator, and it was Andrew Kornfeld who called 911, according to Mauzy, who is representing the Kornfelds. The autopsy reports, shows the singer died because of the presence of Percocet painkiller in his body is also being investigation.
Police were investigating the scene of Prince’s death again early Wednesday morning.
The two drank wine and then he took her to his room at the now defunct Midwest Hotel where they had unprotected sex, she said.
A medical examiner has said full results of a post-mortem examination could take several weeks to obtain, although the Carver County Sheriff’s office said there was no sign of trauma or evidence of suicide.
The affidavit says that detective Christina Wagner interviewed Johnson, who said that Prince had been treated in the Ridgeview health system for an undescribed illness in 2014 or 2015.
According to TMZ, Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg abruptly left the Minnesota clinic where he specialized in family medicine, but nobody’s saying why.
Upon landing, the warrant stated, Prince was transported to a nearby hospital.
