Pop Icon Prince was laid to his final resting place surrounded by some of his most beloved family, friends and other musicians in a small, private service on Saturday after his remains had been cremated.

‘Prince was always private but would have wanted his music remembered’.

The 57-year-old singer died Thursday at his Paisley Park compound in suburban Minneapolis.

She added, “The cause of his death remains unknown and it will be at least four weeks before we receive the results of the autopsy”.

Max Timander, who works at Electric Fetus, told the Press Association: “Everyone I’ve talked to on that Saturday said he looked kind of pale and he was not totally looking in the best shape as he normally is. Prince is a very private person and I don’t think it would be unusual for him to be there by himself”. “He was a good brother-in-law”, Prince’s brother-in-law Maurice Phillips said.

But he neither disclosed what Prince had been working on in his last days, nor divulged details of the service, said the Mail.

Fans pay tribute at the memorial fence outside Paisley Park – which is set to become a museum.

Quoting unnamed sources, United States entertainment news site TMZ reported that Prince was treated in IL for an overdose of the painkiller drug Percocet. His death shocked millions of fans around the world and prompted glowing tributes from fellow musicians and public figures, including US President Barack Obama.

Police are investigating the death but have clarified that they have “no reason to believe” Prince committed suicide.

“If you saw him on Saturday, you wouldn’t suspect anything was wrong with him”, said Lars Larson, a former Paisley security guard who attended the party on April 16 as a spectator”.

Sheila E. addressed those rumors while speaking to Extra, stating: “Those have been squashed because the Sheriff came out and said there was no foul play…All I know is he had a cold and he hated being sick”.
