Prince’s Paisley Park home to open to the public
Four months after the singer Prince died, representatives of his estate announced that his Paisley Park recording studio and residence will be turned into a museum and will open to the public for tours starting on October 6. Graceland Holdings, which manages tours of Elvis Presley’s home, will also help manage Paisley Park tours.

The singer died in an elevator at the 65,000 square-foot complex in Minneapolis in April.
Nelson stated that when Prince was still alive, only few people got the rare chance to witness the incredible place.
From October 6th, fans will be able to tour Prince’s recording studios, private concert hall, rehearsal rooms, private NPG club and the video editing suite, as well as seeing exhibitions of instruments, clothes and more belonging to the late star. Tickets for a 70-minute tour are expected to cost $38.50 Dollars, though more elaborate options for VIP bus tours will also be available.
Tickets go on sale online at 2 p.m. Friday.
Chanhassen officials welcomed the announcement and posted documents about the plan on the city’s website. A planning commission hearing is scheduled for September 20 and the City Council will consider it Oct 3.
“Chanhassen will be pleased to demonstrate to the thousands of visitors to Paisley Park the same hospitality and respect that Prince enjoyed during his time in Chanhassen”, Mayor Denny Laufenburger said in a statement.
The “Purple Rain” hit-maker left left no known will behind hence the judge overseeing the case has not ruled on who his heirs will be. But court filings indicate they’ll likely include Tyka Nelson and five half siblings because Prince was divorced, his parents are dead and he had no confirmed children.
However, not all of Prince’s family are said to have been in agreement with the deal.

Officials investigating his death said earlier this week the pills had been mislabelled as hydrocodone, a weaker type of opioid.
