Investigators say they found no obvious signs of trauma to Prince’s body.

Olson said normal protocol includes gathering surveillance video and a thorough search of the scene, including a search warrant, which he said will be filed “in the next week or so”.

Police received a 911 call from Paisley Park at 9:43 a.m. CDT.

The music legend passed away Thursday at age 57 in his Minnesota home.

Meanwhile, reports continued to emerge of Prince’s last few public appearances.

TMZ reported that Prince had been treated for an overdose of Percoset just six days before his death when his plane made an emergency landing to administer a “save shot”, which is said to counter the effects of opiates.

Representatives for Prince did not respond to requests from the AP for comment on the reports.

“He seemed great. He looked like Prince”, he said.

“The Prince I know was super-healthy, vegan, wasn’t an abuser of drugs, wasn’t an abuser of alcohol”, Reid said.

“He loved all of you”, she reportedly told devotees.

Although an autopsy was completed Friday, the cause of his death is not yet known.

The Chief Medical Examiner for Midwest Medical Examiners Office, Dr. A. Quinn Strobl, began the autopsy Friday morning. Midwest Medical Examiners Office will not release information until the exam is complete and all results are obtained. It is now prepared to release the singer’s body to his family.

AMC Theatres said Friday that the movie “Purple Rain” will return for a limited theatrical run.

Prince had performed two concerts in Atlanta earlier on April 14 to make up for concerts that he cancelled, citing the flu, a week earlier.

After the Atlanta performance, Prince hosted a dance party on April 16 at his Paisley Park compound.

Because of the nature’s death, the Sheriff’s office is investigating Prince’s death.

“All of our officers carry Narcan-and that was not used at all yesterday”, Olsen said.

“This all continues to be under investigation”, he added. “Prince is a very private person and I don’t think it would be unusual for him to be there by himself”.

Meacham said Prince’s remains have been cremated and their final resting place will remain private. Each box contained a handout with a color photo of the late musician and a black T-shirt with “3121” printed on it in white – the numbers were the title of a Prince album.

Prince was born in Minneapolis in 1958.

Olson and a spokeswoman for the medical examiner refused to say whether any prescription drugs were taken from Prince’s home after his death.

No information has been released at this time, and toxicology results could take weeks.
