The music legend passed away Thursday at age 57 in his Minnesota home. He also had an ability to put on shows that were electrifying in their athleticism.

Olson did say there were no “obvious signs of trauma” on the singer’s body, and that there is no reason to believe his death was a suicide.

On Thursday evening, the local sheriff’s office released the transcript of the 911 call made from Prince’s home to authorities yesterday morning.

Once the physical autopsy is finished, Prince’s body will be released to a designee of his family.

Stunned fans massed outside the superstar’s Paisley Park studio complex on the outskirts of Minneapolis are looking to an autopsy carried out earlier in the day to resolve the mystery around the sudden loss of their idol. They found Prince unresponsive in his elevator. The singer’s body was then released to his family.

He was last seen at about 8pm Wednesday night, local time, and was found unconscious by some of his staff at about 9.30am the next morning.

This story has been corrected to show that Prince’s brother-in-law is Maurice Phillips, not Maurice Nelson. Once he went on to his second album and all the subsequent albums, obviously, he became Prince, and he was very much in charge.

Olson said although many saw Prince as a celebrity the people in Minnesota saw him as a “good neighbor” and a longtime community member.

Prince himself revealed in a 2009 interview with Tavis Smiley that he had seizures when he was young and was “born epileptic”, though it’s unclear if Prince had seizures as an adult. Freed said he believed Prince held the party to show everyone he was fine.

“But he did have a lot of energy”. Was it augmented energy? She had contacted him only a few days ago, she added, to tell him she was building a school in his honor.

The statement said the “final storage” of Prince’s remains would be private.

Sheila E. has told the AP that Prince had physical issues from performing, citing hip and knee problems she said came from years of jumping off risers and stage speakers in heels.
