During an interview with the sky news, Prince Williams reveals the truth about his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty will be presented with a limited edition 90 framed set that brings together stamps issued to mark significant achievements over her record-breaking reign.

Harry jokingly refered to George’s name for his great-grandmother the Queen and said: “In the early days when Gan, Gan was around”.

The Queen talks to Royal Mail chief executive Moya Greene as she tours the Royal Mail delivery office in Windsor.

He said that she was a strong female influence in his life.

On the eve of her 90th birthday, the Queen joined in the anniversary celebrations of another British institution, the postal service, joking she had probably added significantly to its workload this week.

It also marks the first time Prince George has appeared on a postage stamp.

Her birthday is not until Thursday when she will become the country’s first nonagenarian sovereign. The two-year-old holds hands with his fatherPrince William in the family portrait, which also features the Queen and Prince Charles to showcase four generations of the House of Windsor.

Prime Minister John Key wished the Queen a very happy 90 birthday on behalf of the New Zealand government.

It required stand-ins, foam blocks and four visits to Buckingham Palace but the result is a little piece of history as stamps featuring a monarch and three direct heirs go on sale for the first time.

A photograph on the stamp shows the Queen at an annual garden party for the Not Forgotten Association, which honours the contribution of the armed forces.
