Uproxx reports that Paisley Park will be open to the public this fall, which is what Prince wanted. Only a few hundred people have ever been inside Paisley Park, Nelson said, but now fans from around the globe will be able to step into the world of Prince Rogers Nelson. It’s nice to know that Prince fans will always be able to remember him by being allowed to spend time where he made his brilliant music. It was also where he collapsed and died of an accidental overdose in April at the age of 57. Standard (pre-booked only) tickets will cost $38.50 (€34) and tours will last 70 minutes, running every 10 minutes throughout the day – which means that up to 2,000 people may pass through its doors on a busy day.

Paisley Park is contracting with a subsidiary of Graceland Holdings, the entity that runs Elvis Presley’s Memphis, Tenn., mansion and museum operations, according to the business plan.

The late recording artist was discovered unresponsive in an elevator at his Paisley Park compound early on Thursday morning, April 21.

The plan requires planning permission from the city council, and it is hoped the complex can be opened as a tourist attraction in October.

Prince’s home Paisley Park will be a museum, said his trustee’s estate on August 24.

The “Purple Rain” hit-maker left left no known will behind hence the judge overseeing the case has not ruled on who his heirs will be.

Bremer Trust is now working to assemble an advisory council to oversee the project. Authorities are still investigating how Prince obtained the drugs.
