Princess Beatrice has reportedly split from her long-term boyfriend Dave Clark.
Both Beatrice’s mother Sarah and her father Prince Andrew are said to adore Dave, who has accompanied them on holidays to the Bahamas and the Swiss skiing resort of Verbier and are “completely shocked” by the split.

It was Prince William who first introduced Dave Clark to his cousin Beatrice.

A source told The Mail on Sunday, “I understand the couple quietly called time on their romance a month ago after the failure of long and exasperated ‘make or break” talks – centred on whether or not they should get married. “This is an opportunity for them to reflect, learn and grow”, a source tells Us.
Born in the United States six years before Princess Beatrice, 33-year-old Dave is son to Michael Clark, a wealthy American lawyer who was head of the legal counsel at Cadbury Schweppes.
Dave was also a constant presence at royal family occasions such as Princess Eugenie’s birthday parties, several of Sarah Ferguson’s charity events and Royal Ascot.
Fergie has always been incredibly supportive of her daughter’s relationship with Dave. The split may have been due to the fact that Princess Beatrice had become more assertive and confident of late.
She enrolled in a finance course in San Francisco, where Uber has its headquarters, before taking an investment banking job in Manhattan where Dave is based. She gave Dave an ultimatum, but it backfired because he did not ask her to marry him.

However, Beatrice was vacationing in the Greek Islands with friends.
