So much has been written about Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s project Lucifer that we’ve lost track. M’town has earlier witnessed the directorials of actors Madhu, Sheela, Adoor Bhasi, Sheela, Bharath Gopi, Jagathy Sreekumar and Nedumudy Venu. Oppam was the latest film of Shajon released.
A day after Onam, Mohanlal has confirmed about his next project through a Facebook page where Prithiviraj would make his first directorial venture.
According to a source in the know of things, this movie came after Antony Perumbavoor, the closest aide of Mohanlal, who now produces most of Mohanlal’s films, expressed his desire to produce a film directed by Prithviraj. Yet another interest of Raju was to direct Lalettan in his debut film itself. Other details are as yet unknown. The actor has heard the script and has agreed to do the film. The first look of the poster of Mohanlal smoking was also posted in the Facebook page. “And the movie’s name is “Lucifer”,” wrote the thespian.

He adds that this Lucifer has no connection with the film, which was announced around few years back with him as the writer and Rajesh Pillai as the director.
