“Use common sense”, suggests Curtis. While that may be a good thing for consumers, a few companies with meat-processing businesses may suffer. “Which is that you know that it is a real carcinogen, in other words, it’s an item that causes cancer at a few point in the future if you consume high amounts”, explained Dr. Khorana.
