“We definitely are hopeful to go several more seasons”, said Levy.
Many odd things happen in Netflix’s new offering Stranger Things, as the title would suggest. And for those who binged their way through the show’s eight episodes, one of the biggest remaining mysteries is whether it will get a second season. Let us know your thoughts by commenting below!
These days Netflix’s are throwing out the original TV series’, and even movies, on a regular basis, but it’s been a few months now since we’ve had a new show we could really sink our teeth into.
While Netflix has yet to make an official announcement to “Stranger Things” Season 2, Matthew Modine divulged that it is happening.
The creators of the show the Duffer brothers, Matt and Ross (behind 2015) horror Hidden, have attracted high praise from the maker of horror himself, Stephen King, who tweeted: “STRANGER THINGS is pure fun. A+”. It also introduced a few other questions that need to be answered in Season 2 and beyond. We’ll forever love the things we loved as children it seems, and dammit, if Stranger Things proves anything it’s that we were kids with excellent taste. After the series debuted on the streaming service earlier this month, there has been talks about getting Season 2.
“Things end up being resolved to some extent at the end of Season 1, but not entirely”, continued Levy.
As far as storylines go, the conclusion of Stranger Things left more than enough threads for a second season to explore.
