While the Vikings won by taking advantage of Titan turnovers, Apple’s handset impressed with the combination of the Plus’s dual cameras and the incredible access to the field given to photographer David E. Klutho, who shot the images. We’ve not been able to test this claim for ourselves, as reviews of the new iPhones are yet to be published, but we can now get a look at the sorts of images the iPhone 7 Plus produces thanks to a photo gallery from Sports Illustrated. After a few days of using the iPhone 7 Plus in a variety of outdoor environments, Schiller’s praise for Apple’s flagship iPhone was unequivocal, calling it the best new adventure camera of the year.

After providing an iPhone 7 Plus to Sports Illustrated and ESPN in order demonstrate the device’s ability to capture fast-moving sporting events, Apple executive Phil Schiller recently took to Twitter and pointed us to yet another demonstration of the iPhone 7 Plus’ photography prowess. They include optical image stabilization and a larger ƒ/1.8 aperture and 6-element lens to enable brighter, more colorful and detailed photos, according to Apple.
