Projector Stops Working, Skips Ahead During Star Wars Premier
Erik Melendez, who was there watching the movie, said the projector stopped during “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. It goes like this: We wait a decade for a new film, spend hours in line in order to get a good seat…then only get to watch a portion of the movie because the projector is broken.

“Arclight’s 3D projectors malfunction during the opening day showing of Star Wars”.
A second video posted to YouTube shows distraught fans once again screaming “nooooo” and urging the projectionist to “go back”. Erik Melendez wrote on Facebook. “Now in that we seen the movie, we know it wasn’t the ending”, Melendez stated. As compensation for the ruined movie experience, the theater owner gave the moviegoers a refund for the tickets as well as a voucher for a free movie in the future. “Just when they stop the film, they promise to fix it and return to a previous time before the bars appeared. You can’t get that back”, fan Kristin Nepi said.
