Prominent Black Lives Matter activist arrested
The iconic image was taken as demonstrators, including many supporting the civil rights movement Black Lives Matter, gathered outside Baton Rouge’s police department headquarters on Saturday in protest against the deaths. No information was immediately available on what charges they faced or whether some people were later released.

After being released, Mckesson said he remains disappointed with Baton Rouge police, who he says were provoking peaceful protesters.
