The protesters walked past lines of police officers who had cordoned off a lane of traffic for them.
Speakers at the protest say they want to bring justice for people killed by police.
The demonstration came a few days after New York police officer Randolph Holder was shot to death while chasing a bicycle thief.

Tarantino, who flew in from California to take part, said: ‘I’m a human being with a conscience. No arrests were reported. “If it was being dealt with, then these murdering cops would be in jail or at least be facing charges”, said Tarantino, whose hit films include Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, on Saturday.
