Protesters shut down I-94 near downtown St. Paul

These, along with the three-day protests that seemed to stop on Saturday, are only the most recent episodes in the crisis of contentious killings performed by police officials.
Hundreds of demonstrators took to the street in London Sunday to show support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
Hundreds were arrested this weekend as demonstrators took to the streets of major US cities in response to the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, two African-American men killed by police last week.
Police originally said 50 people were arrested on I-94, but clarified Monday the actual number is 46 adults, plus one juvenile. The laws outline procedures for administrative investigations into whether police officers have violated department policies, often requiring investigators to give police the names of their accusers and the questions that will be asked. “But there’s unity in recognizing that this is not how we want our communities to operate”.
The St. Paul Police Department tweeted that arrests have been made during the protest but didn’t indicate how many.
Roughly half of the arrests happened during that standoff.
The Saint Paul City Attorney’s office says it reviewed the evidence from the event, including police reports, photos and video. A leader on a loudspeaker urged the group to march to the governor’s mansion, where protesters have gathered since the fatal police shooting on Wednesday of Philando Castile in suburban St. Paul. And it reached its tragic climax in Dallas after five police officers were killed by a sniper, who told police he was angry about the deaths of Sterling and Castile. While there, the officer spoke to Johnson, who said he “had just gotten out of a class at a nearby self-defense school”.
Misty Macon, 20, of St. Paul, said the protest was mostly peaceful, though at least one protester aimed fireworks at an officer.
John Lozoya, the founder of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Latino Peace Officers Association, said Yanez has been an active volunteer through that organization as well.
“I guess I wasn’t moving fast enough for him”, said Martin, who said the officer was 6 feet away when he sprayed him without warning.
“I just can’t believe that this occurred”, Axtell said, shaking his head.
Protesters blocked roads in Nashville, shut down I-94.
In fact, the Staten Island district attorney and prosecutor in Garner’s case Daniel M. Donovan Jr. was accused of bias in favor of the police when he failed to indict the police officers who choked Garner to death which was caught on video, showing him gasping “I can’t breathe!”
“There is sorrow, there is anger, there is confusion about next steps”, Obama said.
For some in Dallas, Thursday night was their first protest.
San Antonio police say shots fired overnight near the department headquarters hit the building, but nobody was hurt.

“When you look at the shoot-and-move tactics, the abilities he had because of the structure of the building, the journal buttresses the theory that the man acted alone”, Jenkins said. Reportedly, Johnson wanted to “kill white people”. But the police killing of Jamar Clark last November galvanized the movement. He says the process is sometimes messy and controversial, but the ability to engage in free speech has improved America. Titus said: “The governor’s statement insinuates that law enforcement is racist and it’s absolutely inaccurate and inappropriate. You f****** move and I swear to God” before a shot rings out, quickly followed by another two.
