Protests in Baton Rouge calm after busy weekend
Triple S owner Abdullah Muflahi alleges in his lawsuit that he was unlawfully detained and that police illegally confiscated his cellphone and the store’s entire security system, which recorded the shooting of Sterling, whom Muflahi allowed to sell CDs and DVDs outside his shop for several years.

The lawsuit names Baton Rouge Police Chief Carl Dabadie, the three officers involved in Sterling’s death, and the city of Baton Rouge as defendants.

“They were aware of other incidents where individuals were restrained, and were able to get their gun out and shoot police officers”.
