Protests rock PoK over alleged rigging of polls to favour Nawaz Sharif
Huge protests were witnessed in the Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Chinari and Mirpur, after the members of the PML (N) allegedly killed a supporter of the Muslim Conference (MC) in Muzaffarabad. The PML-N has bagged 31 seats out of the 41, while the Muslim Conference and Pakistan People’s party bagged three seats each.

Protestors in PoK alleged that the genuine voters were not allowed to cast their votes in the elections.
A video footage has emerged from the region that shows protesters have taken to the roads, setting fire to tyres and creating roadblocks with them.
Terming Kashmir as “unfinished agenda” of the United Nations, Sharif said that the people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) were “lucky as they enjoy full freedom” and vowed to support people of Kashmir.
Demonstrations were held outside PoK assembly at Muzaffarabad and other government buildings as dissenters closed all commercial establishments in various cities across Pok. They also claimed that the elections were rigged. At this they did not talk about the human rights.
According to Zee News, political parties have also raised doubts over the verdict while locals have alleged that election results in PoK has always been rigged in favour of the ruling party.
The speakers asked the Indonesian government, freedom loving people and the global community to support the rights of self-determination of the Kashmiri Muslims suffering the atrocities inflicted by the occupying Indian forces since the last 70 years.
Raja Farooq Haider has been nominated as the Prime Minister of Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK).

Further there is also a ban on foreign observers during the elections.
