The industry follower said that while “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is a major franchise title for CD Projekt Red, the massive scope of the game made bug-hunting and glitch identification, as well as improvements and tweaks, hard in just one go.

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” expansion Blood and Wine is slated for release in the first half of 2016.
In addition, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” also won last year’s Game of the Year at The Game Awards and is now nominated for another GOTY at this year’s Game Developer’s Choice Awards, to be held in March.
“With Blood and Wine will try to close, at least for a while, the universe of The Witcher”.
All signs point to The Witcher 3’s final expansion, Blood and Wine, being the best, most complete experience yet. YES, you read it right and it has been officially confirmed by CD Projekt Red’s Jakub Szamalek in a recent interview to our friend at Eurogamer Italy.
At the moment CD Projekt RED plans to shift its focus towards Cyberpunk 2077, which was revealed in 2012 and has not received too many details about either story or mechanics since then.
One of the ways Szamalek thinks Blood and Wine will be better than Wild Hunt is because of a new antagonist for Geralt to fight.
He also once again reiterated that Blood and Wine is the final piece of content that will use the current protagonist of the series and that they want to make sure that the send-off is a memorable one.

“We are quite satisfied with the work, but we know that we can do even better”. Blood and Wine will offer a “rather complex story” that they believe “players will appreciate”. Seeing all of the other games and expansions released by the company in the past, they will probably hit their goal. Check back daily for updates on the release date.
