PS4 Pro console launch at PlayStation Theater in NY
Sony has announced details of its new high-end PlayStation 4 Pro console, which will support 4K and high dynamic range (HDR) and will run ultra high definition (UHD) video apps. It’s not a enormous jump in power, but it is a notable lift.

The PS4 Pro will launch on November 10 for $399 and the slimmer PS4 will launch on September 15 for $299.
As for the console itself, the new PS 4 Pro comes across as a more powerful version of the base PS 4. How each game works depends on which console you have. “And I’m more confident today that we’re going to have the most powerful console ever made”. On the outside, the Pro version appears to be a challenger to the Scorpio.
With regard to non-game content, the PS4 Pro will provide 4K/Ultra HD streaming playback from Netflix and YouTube, plus other services to be named later. With PS 4 Pro, it will have another medium to stream in 4K, a format that it has been really pushing hard for greater adoption. It is 30% slimmer than the original design and is stylish in appearance. The same thing happened to the PS2 and PS3 a few years after those consoles came out. He explains that starting The Witness on a PS4 Pro after November 10 will cause the game to enter one of two modes depending on the display being used. As early as next week, there will be a firmware update to all PS4’s allowing them to reach HDR capabilities.
Zenimax Online Studios has published a short trailer that shows off what The Elder Scrolls Online will look like running on the PS4 Pro.

Penello told Polygon that their upcoming console would deliver a gaming experience that demonstrates the power gap between the PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio at “a price point that makes sense to console gamers”.
