The new PS4 is released on 15 September and will be priced at $299.99, £259.99. One reason for the decision may be Sony’s ability to offer the box at a lower price – £349, in line with the PS4’s original launch cost. Both its CPU and GPU have been upgraded and fans are on the top of the world as it supports 4K technology.

The new PS4 Pro is here and it sounds bloody fantastic. It is going to be releasing on November 10 and now minds have switched to the important matter of – “Can my current 4K TV play HDR on PS4 or PS4 Pro?”.

Sony has officially launched new PS4 Pro console and as rumors suggested it is a mid-life revamp for the machine which will render games in better resolution, increased graphical fidelity. Sony said that it was “incredibly important” that there is only one PlayStation audience.

Sony and Crystal Dynamics have released new 4K screenshots, and a brand-new trailer showing of Rise of the Tomb Raider on the PS4 Pro.

4K Resolution, which displays the game in 4K Resolution, on supported 4K TVs, in 30 fps.

And while Sony has yet to confirm what else we can exactly expect in the PS4 Pro, information such as the system memory on Project Scorpio is also unknown.

Also £54 is the new DualShock, which is a known quantity thanks to the PS4 Slim leaks.

Penello: We know it’s important to deliver an experience that demonstrates the power gap between [the PS4 Pro and Scorpio] at a price that makes sense to console gamers. It hits stores on September 15 and will retail for $299.99 United States dollars.

House’s reference to ‘titles that leverage the potential of PS4 Pro’ does hint at the possibility of fragmentation for the platform.
