The official PS Blog announcement explains that the two companies have worked with MoFilm to create a short series of live action films. Players assume the role of a nameless female protagonist as she hops in the shower, only to hear a odd noise coming from the hallway. It’s not long before they’re stalked by a vicious killer who’s in the mood for teenage corpses and you’ll quickly be making decisions to ensure the safety of the characters. The two films will explore scenarios inspired by Until Dawn.
The trailer’s director (Torben) said, “We took our inspiration from the many choices presented in the game and from its cinematic style”.
The trailer, titled “Choices”, lets the viewers make the decisions on the final outcome.
Decisions players make will impact events in the game to such a degree that there are thousands of paths, with some story branches more complex than others.

In a matter of days, you can finally put yourself to the test, with the release of Until Dawn, teen-slasher-flick-cum-video-game and see if you do any better. “Now you can actually have a say in them – and carry full responsibility if the protagonist gets away or is killed in a brutal way…we find that extremely cool!”
