The 23-year-old joined Real at the age of 14 and was part of their Champions League-winning squads in 2014 and 2016.

The Canary Island winger has since made 94 appearances for the Real Madrid first-team, serving as the back-up for Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, while scoring 18 goals and providing 16 assists.

“It will be a great pleasure to work under the direction of Unai Emery, who has developed an excellent reputation”, Jese told the PSG website. “I was at Real for 10 years but it was time to take the next step in my career”. Meanwhile, the Spaniard has admitted that he has turned down interest from Premier League clubs to agree a five-year-deal with the Ligue 1 champions amid recent reports linking him with Arsenal and Liverpool.

“Many Spanish clubs and some English wanted to me”.

Jese, who will work with new PSG coach Unai Emery, can play either in a central role or wide and is likely to be used as a second-choice striker behind Edinson Cavani.

“I’m very pleased to welcome Jese to PSG”.

PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is delighted with the club’s new player and insists they have signed one of Spain’s “most promising young footballers”. His speed and creative qualities will complement our excellent attacking players. “With Jese, our squad is now, more than ever, armed to confront the coming challenges and meet the expectations of our fans”.
