PSL: Gladiators hammer Karachi Kings by 8 wickets
Karachi are leading the points table after defeating Lahore Qalandars by seven wickets on Friday. Anwar Ali justified his captain’s call with the dismissal of Nauman Anwar in the very first over of the match while Lendl Simmons and James Vince struggled to propel the scoring and eventually perished for 11 nad 30 respectively.

They were wobbling at 4 for 2 in the second over.
Chasing 153 for victory, Quetta got off to a solid start as openers Ahmed Shehzad (71) and Luke Wright (47) piled on 92 runs in just 10.4 overs. Kevin Pietersen finished the match in style, hitting a six when scores were levelled.
Those who were hoping for some magic from the willow of Chris Gayle was disappointed big time as the West Indian was dismissed for a first-ball duck by Junaid Khan. Qalandars kept on losing the wicket on regular intervals and could not get the partnerships going. Mohammad Rizwan top-scored with a 31-ball 37, but lacked support from the other end, as the likes of Chris Gayle (6), Azhar Ali (18), Cameron Delport (17) and Sohaib Maqsood (22) came and went at regular intervals.
Amir, along with Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif, was banned on charges of arranging deliberate no-balls during the Lord’s Test against England in 2010. He also served six months in prison.
Earlier, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bowl first.
The battle between the two unbeaten sides in the Pakistan Premier League (PSL) between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi promises to provide all out action. He remained not out at 86 from 53 deliveries.
