PSV’s Moreno Apologises For Shaw ‘Accident’
Luke Shaw has received a visit from PSV Eindhoven defender Hector Moreno, whose challenge in Tuesday’s Champions League tie broke the Manchester United fullback’s leg in two places.

“Amazing for me. Big surprise”, said Van Gaal.
Shaw remains in the Netherlands after undergoing surgery and Van Gaal said United will do whatever they can to make life easier for him when he returns to England and as he tries to regain fitness.
Defender Luke Shaw has confirmed he has left hospital and will fly back to Manchester on Saturday to start his rehabilitation.
Pochettino, who worked with Shaw when he was in charge of Southampton, has said that he phoned the 20-year-old to offer him his support. “Maybe tomorrow”, the United manager said.
Marcos Rojo or Daley Blind are expected to replace Shaw at left-back against Southampton.
“First Van Gaal wants to be in control defensively and from there he builds on and I think that is what you are going to see throughout the season“. “But he has had training and treatment and I think he can start”.
Now, Van Gaal concedes United must start again in their plan to build a strong left-side of the field involving new signing Memphis Depay. When he can come back, we have everything prepared. We all know how it is to have a big injury and how bad we feel when we are injured – even for a small amount of time such as three or four weeks.
Nani shared a picture of Shaw alongside the caption: “Luke my friend, wish you a great and fast recovery!”
The England worldwide was plagued by injury periodically for much of last season but this term he had played the full 90 minutes of every competitive game, making the timing of his leg break all the more heart-breaking. “That is not so easy but we have to do it”.
“We are talking here about a kid who is only 20, and the way the medical profession can deal with this kind of major injury now, it shouldn’t have any effect on him in the long term”.

Unfortunately, Louis Van Gaal will now have to reconsider his selection for the majority of the season. I texted him to say I’d call him later because rest is also important for the recovery. “We have good replacements in Blind and in Rojo and in Ashley Young”.
