Psy’s New Music Video Is INSANE
SEOUL South Korean singer Psy, whose video Gangnam Style went viral on YouTube with a record number of hits, released his first studio album in five years in Seoul on Tuesday.

As to expectations of domestic and worldwide success of his album, he stated categorically that he thought “Billboard No. 1 (was) out of the question”, and that “something like “Gangnam Style” would never happen again”.
Psy as his Daddy in the video clip for Daddy. The bad dancing seems to be purposeful, comedic. Even the music is light-hearted, head-noddable.
Combined with Psy starting as a baby, into school and later onto adult and senile life – all in insane dance moves with obnoxious gestures and outrageous costumes reminiscent of the bespoke vividly coloured suits he used to wear in his previous hit video “Gangnam Style”. Likewise, “Daddy” has its own dance move, an oddly hypnotic synchronized flailing of the arms.
Psy’s new songs for 2015, both released on Monday, don’t stray too far from the magic formula.
But really, where’d you get that body from?
Posted yesterday, the video already has almost 7 million views.

The influence would be entirely logical, given that will.i.am is a confirmed contributor for another track set to appear on Psy’s seventh album, titled “ROCKnROLLbaby”. It is now considered the site’s most viewed video of all time. To date, the enormously popular video has garnered almost 2.5 billion views.
