PTI postpones October 4 rally in Islamabad, Imran Khan to address party
Imran Khan’s dramatic arrival in Lahore today heralds what could be a make or break moment in his PTI’s relentless push for power. According to party leaders, PTI chairman would meet senior leadership and would also finalise election strategy. “After this stay order, one may ask, who is running away now?”

In his last term as Punjab chief minister, Shahbaz Sharif remained in office on the basis of a stay order for four-and-a-half years. “Khawaja Saad Rafique is on stay order for five months”.
On a question he answered that in NA-122 PTI workers will monitor the election.
Senator Rashid said that remarks of the PTI leader about the judgment amount to contempt of court.
The PTI Chief said that the Election Tribunal in its verdict announced on August 26 clearly stated that Siddique Baloch had been proved to be an illiterate and uneducated person.
The minister also accused Mr Tareen of using his influence and wealth to seek the support of other parties to secure the Lodhran by-election, but said that Siddique Baloch’s son Umair was all set to trounce Mr Tareen.
He further said that the apex court’s ruling has saved PTI’s principal candidate from “humiliating defeat”, adding that they have been “deprived” from seeing Tareen get defeated.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has postponed its planned rally in Islamabad on October 4, and decided that it would hold a public gathering in Lahore on October 9. “Otherwise, it will be hard for us to accept by-poll results”. “I will lead Tsunami in Lahore and create a situation like 2013’s general elections once again”, he said.
