Pulis: Klopp here to stay

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists that he will not race into the transfer market in January after revealing that he is satisfied with the quality in his squad.

The Brazilian has scored four goals in his last three Premier League games and will be hoping to retain that form against West Brom.

Charismatic German Klopp has proven a huge hit among both players and supporters at Anfield since taking over from Brendan Rodgers a little over two months ago.

Liverpool have had a good start under Klopp with the performances against Chelsea and Manchester City being excellent, but the games against Newcastle and Crystal Palace show that there are still huge problems to address.

In the last 24 Premier League matches, West Brom (30) have taken just one point less than Liverpool (31).

The ex-Borussia Dortmund coach may be happy with his squad numbers, but there was a hint that there is room for improvement in terms of quality. He has got one of the best clubs in England with some top players.

“He’s had a good start, he looks bright and breezy and his command of the English language is excellent, so it looks like he’ll be here to stay”.

Surprise defeat to Newcastle for the Reds was followed by a rather boring 0-0 draw in the Europa League, but the result was more than enough to see them through to the last 32.

Key Player: Philippe Coutinho – The Liverpool playmaker is their top scorer in the Premier League this season and possess the ability to turn any game in his sides favour.

‘We know all the players in world football – some fit us, some don’t so we will see what happens’.

“Now we have a short trip to the hotel, we can sleep, tomorrow we have to fly and then have a little [training] session”.

Liverpool full-back Jon Flanagan is expected to resume full training next week and signal an end to his 18-month injury nightmare, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The controversial striker played and scored for the Baggies’ Under-21s against West Ham on Monday after losing his place in Pulis’s first team. It is a strategy Liverpool are accustomed to at Anfield, although in their last two away games they faced similar problems.
