A Fox News poll released Thursday shows Donald Trump continues to hold an edge, with 26 percent support and Ben Carson close behind with 23 percent. Most voters are ambivalent on President Barack Obama’s party, but 41 percent view it positively and 39 percent view it negatively. According to the poll, both Clinton and Sanders would win Michigan if their opponent is Trump.
Four of the pro-life Republicans seeking the Republican presidential nomination lead pro-abortion Hillary Clinton in a new national poll and pro-life doctor Ben Carson even ties Hillary with women voters.
For the Democrats, Clinton got 54 percent and Sanders 32 percent and no one else got more than 2 percent.
Rubio came in third at 14 percent, followed closely by Sen.
Bush recently unveiled a new slogan, “Jeb Can Fix It”, and has stepped up his hits on Rubio and Trump.
To date he is the only Republican who has shown an ability to muster enough support to knock Trump off is perch, or at least share the top spot.
The poll surveyed 1,144 registered voters nationwide between October 29 – November 2 with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
But against Ben Carson, who is now leading the GOP horserace in the NBC/WSJ poll, Clinton finds herself in a tied contest, 47 percent to 47 percent. “It doesn’t matter the stage, give me a podium and I’ll be there to talk about real issues”, Christie said after the lineup was announced yesterday. He said the race has already left a few front-runners on life support. Bernie Sanders. Three percent said they would support former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
Rubio and Cruz also manage to beat Clinton in the general, as does New Jersey governor Chris Christie, who is only polling at 3%. Ted Cruz beats Clinton, 46-43 percent. For reasons that are not clear, Internet polls tend to show Donald Trump in a better position than live interviewer polls.
