Putin, CIS Special Services to discuss situation in Syria
Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting on October 28 with representatives of CIS countries’ security agencies to discuss matters including countering terrorist groups trained in Syria and Afghanistan, the Kremlin press service said Tuesday. “Fees for shipment of oil products and crude oil in the Russian ports of Novorossiisk, Taman, Ust-Luga, Kozmino, Primorsk and others – are either directly priced in U.S. dollars, or denominated in U.S. dollars on online trading systems, practically in real time”, asked the President.

In a drive to boost trade with China, Russian Federation is seeking to use the rouble and yuan more in bilateral trade, though those efforts so far yielded little. According to polls the Russian strongman regularly enjoys approval ratings of over 80%, perhaps because of a sophisticated propaganda campaign that has effectively painted him as the only option for Russia.
