Putin, CIS Special Services to discuss situation in Syria

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting on October 28 with representatives of CIS countries’ security agencies to discuss matters including countering terrorist groups trained in Syria and Afghanistan, the Kremlin press service said Tuesday. “Fees for shipment of oil products and crude oil in the Russian ports of Novorossiisk, Taman, Ust-Luga, Kozmino, Primorsk and others – are either directly priced in U.S. dollars, or denominated in U.S. dollars on online trading systems, practically in real time”, asked the President.

Jones said he would move to Russian Federation with his family and compete in the name of his adoptive country, Interfax reported.

Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan, all of which are members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), have already committed to switching to their national currencies.

Moscow’s plans to cut transactions in the dollar have found added momentum in the wake of Western sanctions which restrict Russia’s access to worldwide capital.

Unfortunately for Putin and Russian Federation things are not progressing as quickly as they would like.

In a drive to boost trade with China, Russian Federation is seeking to use the rouble and yuan more in bilateral trade, though those efforts so far yielded little. According to polls the Russian strongman regularly enjoys approval ratings of over 80%, perhaps because of a sophisticated propaganda campaign that has effectively painted him as the only option for Russia.
