Putin denies Russia’s involvement in Hillary Clinton campaign hacking
“We have never interfered, are not interfering and do not intend to interfere in domestic politics”.

Despite the warm words and clear desire to improve trade, which has been hit by sanctions slapped on Moscow by stalwart U.S. ally Tokyo over Russia’s meddling in Ukraine, there has been no major breakthrough on a deal to end the territorial dispute.
Those revelations led to the resignation of DNC party chair Rep.
(CNN) – Russian President Vladimir Putin denied having any involvement in the hack of the Democratic National Committee in early August, in an interview published Friday, despite a U.S. official saying earlier this summer there was “little doubt” Russia was behind the attack.
Putin also denied in the Bloomberg interview allegations the hack was an attempt by Russian Federation to influence the outcome of the upcoming USA presidential election. Putin asked. “They act so delicately and precisely that they can leave their mark – or even the mark of others – at the necessary time and place, camouflaging their activities as that of other hackers from other territories or countries”.
The hack on the DNC was pretty embarrassing for Hillary, who has had a tense relationship with Putin over the years.
A computer network used by Clinton’s campaign, and the party’s fundraising committee for the House of Representatives were also hacked.
While U.S. officials do not believe that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is directly working with the Russian government, they do suspect that he is being fed intel by the Russian community, whether he knows it or not.
Putin dismissed the allegations.
Relations between Moscow and London have been strained in recent years due to their different stances over the Ukraine and Syria crises.
In early August, when the rumors and speculation ahead of the informal OPEC meeting in late September were only starting to fly around, Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak said he saw no grounds for resuming talks to put a freeze on crude production, but was open to join discussions if OPEC members were to raise the issue.
The Russian president’s interview with Bloomberg came just two days before world leaders, including Putin and U.S. President Barack Obama, arrive in China for the Group of 20 meeting.
Putin also said Clinton and Trump were being “shortsighted” by playing “the anti-Russian card”.
On Saturday, PM Abe called on President Putin to “take responsibility” to boost the bilateral ties, while talking to the Russian leader on the second and last day of a major economic forum in the Far Eastern Russian city of Vladivostok. They found that the two parties responsible were Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear, both intelligence agencies linked to Putin’s government. The resulting attacks, he said, are part of the US political culture.

“No, I don’t know anything about that”, Putin said in a jocular tone, raising an eyebrow as he answered the question.
