‘Putin is a better leader than Obama’
Trump said he was “totally against the war in Iraq”. Republican strategists say Clinton should have been more prepared for that to happen in the general election.

Speaking in Laos, Mr Obama lashed Mr Trump as “wacky” and “uninformed” after the comments.
Friday afternoon, as she was walking away from a podium at a press conference, Clinton paused when a reporter shouted a question asking that she respond to Trump’s appearance on RT America.
Major party presidential nominees have received intelligence briefings prior to election day for more than 60 years.
In a commander in chief forum on NBC, Trump said he received briefings from experts on Iraq, Iran and Russian Federation, and that one thing had “shocked” him.
After Wednesday’s forum ended, Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, tweeted a critique of Clinton’s performance as “angry + defensive the entire time – no smile and uncomfortable”. “I have learned to be grateful not just for my blessings but also for my faults – and there are plenty”. “I’m not going to sit up here and do the tit-for-tat on what Donald said last night or the night before and Hillary vs. Donald”.
The intensifying political combat came as Clinton’s lead in opinion polls has slipped in recent days.
Rose asked Conway why Trump claims to have always been against the war, and she stated that “He was a private citizen who was against the Iraq war”, and if he was a senator at the time, he’d have definitely voted against the invasion.
Donald Trump on Thursday once again sought to convince the public that he opposed the Iraq War by pointing to statements he made after the U.S. had already invaded the country.
The Trump-Putin bromance of sorts has even become a meme.
Clinton has said her experience in government as secretary of state and a USA senator makes her uniquely qualified for the White House, and that Trump’s series of controversial comments make him temperamentally unfit for the office. Undecided voter Pam Campos-Palma, for one, declared that she was completely appalled at the way Trump gushed over Putin’s leadership. Mr Trump will lambast the Obama administration for failing to provide for the troops, and not using a robust military to enhance American global clout.
“If you’re a white southerner, you know exactly what it means”, he said while campaigning for his wife in Orlando, Florida.
“I was opposed to war from the beginning”, Trump said. “That’s not only unsafe, it should be disqualifying”. Some supporters shrugged off his comments about Putin. “Not only did Hillary expose classified information to actors on her unsecured, I would say home brew, email server and that has weakened the decision making in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and it’s turned those countries into a breeding ground for radical Islamic terror”. Russia’s two main polling agencies consistently give the man in the Kremlin ratings that would be the envy of Trump or his rival in the USA presidential election, Hillary Clinton. The Trump campaign insists that it was not aware that King would air the interview during his show Politicking.
“Putin is an aggressor that does not share our interests”.
During a televised forum Wednesday on national security, Trump complimented Putin for having “great control over his country”.
