Putin lauds USA presidential candidate Trump as ‘outstanding’
Vladimir Putin appeared to endorse Donald Trump for the US Presidency as he praised the Republican hopeful as “flamboyant” and “talented”.

“He’s a really brilliant and talented person, without any doubt”.
Putin said Russian Federation and the U.S. agree on the need to ensure work on a new constitution and create mechanisms of control over future elections. “How can we not welcome that?”
Regarding Syria, Putin said the Russian military operation will continue until a political process starts. Trump has previously said he would back Putin “100%” on Syria.
Trump has made it very clear how he plans to handle diplomacy with Russian Federation if he is elected president.
“I think that I would at the same time get along very well with him”.
And he was unfazed by Mr Trump’s recently proposed ban on Muslims entering the United States, which sparked condemnation from several world leaders.
NY billionaire Mr Trump has spoken warmly about Mr Putin’s tough approach to foreign policy in the past.

The president said he was unsure whether Russia needs a permanent military base in Syria, since new Russian weapons, such as sea- and air-launched cruise missiles, give Moscow enough punch to strike an enemy from afar.
Speaking at the televised news conference, Mr Putin said doping harms athletes and cheats must be punished.
But the politics are a bit more complicated than that, in large part because American Republicans have repeatedly praised Putin in recent years, singling him out as the kind of world leader they respect and admire. “They are studying and working”, he said, adding they were fluent in three European languages.

Turning to Ukraine, Putin said Russian Federation was interested in seeing that conflict settled as quickly as possible. “Turkey had decided”, Putin said, to “lick the Americans in a certain place”, a reference to Turkey’s decision to first consult with North Atlantic Treaty Organisation rather than Russian Federation over the incident. “If he wants to be bombing the hell out of ISIS, which he’s starting to do, if he wants to be bombing ISIS, let him bomb them…”
