Putin says Russia will have to raise pension age at some point
Low oil prices and Western sanctions imposed over Moscow’s interference in Ukraine have hit Russia’s economy hard and driven the value of its ruble currency down. Turkey should have contacted Russian Federation immediately to prevent the incident or at least call and apologize if it was an accident, Putin said at the news conference.

Trump also backed Putin’s response to Turkey shooting down a Russian fighter jet last month.
“He says he wants to move to a new level of relations, fuller, deeper relations with Russian Federation; could we not welcome that?”
“In general, we like it”, Putin said.
“I am proud of them”.
“We will help settle this crisis in every possible way”, Putin said.
Mr Putin said the Syrian people themselves must determine who rules the country.
Russian President Vladimir Putin offered praise for GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump today, telling ABC News, “He’s a very colorful person”. Kerry also said that some Russia’s strikes in Syria are aimed not at the Islamists, but the moderate opposition.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his annual television marathon address to the nation, has been especially harsh towards neighbour Turkey.
“They [Turkish authorities] thought that we would turn tail and run!” He also said he does not know whether Russian Federation needs a permanent military base in Syria. “We only have increased our presence there”.
“Turkey used to violate Syrian airspace all the time”, Putin told reporters Thursday. “And I’m sure that Obama doesn’t like him very much”, Trump said. “Instead, they immediately fled to Brussels…(and) began to hide behind North Atlantic Treaty Organisation”. In December 2014, Putin had said that Russia’s economic woes “under the most unfavourable world conditions” would last two years.
A Russian passenger plane crashed over Egypt’s Sinai region on October 31, killing all 224 people aboard. The Islamic State group claimed that it brought down the plane with a bomb.
Putin said Russian Federation will continue to “support the Syrian Army’s offensive for as long as [it] is conducting its operation”. Putin called Blatter a “respected man”, who has done a lot for the development of soccer worldwide. The two were captured by Ukraine’s forces in mid-May in eastern Ukraine.
Putin has demanded an apology from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and damages after a SU-24 bomber was shot down and one of the pilots killed on November 24.
“We have never closed ourselves off, whomever is elected there”.
