She noticed something off about the size of a “snakeskin belt” (since she couldn’t see the head, just the body), and contacted the market’s owner and employees about the “alarming” discovery, according to the Bradenton Patch.
Multiple news channels describe a young lady was in fact exploring through a place of denim, Coupon books and trousers Sunday early morning when you’re the woman found the bend.
“They’re not venomous. They’re constrictors”, Mullin said of pythons.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was called and a member of the its Venom One Unit was dispatched.
“It’s a good thing she didn’t grab it,” Lt. Scott Mullen told the Miami Herald. Animal control says rainy weather in the area most likely drove the snake out of its underground home.
Mullen said the 7-foot-long serpent appeared to have recently eaten.
