Clinton was forced to leave ceremonies marking the annivary of the September 11 attacks in NY on Sunday because of a dizzy spell. Running mate Tim Kaine campaigned in Greensboro last month, while daughter Chelsea Clinton was at a Wake Forest University roundtable Tuesday.

When the poll is extended to include the Libertarian and Green Party candidates, however, Clinton and Trump hold 42pc each. It took several hours for her personal physician to disclose she had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier, drawing criticism of her campaign’s lack of transparency.

In her return to the campaign trail after a bout with pneumonia, Hillary Clinton on Thursday said she did not want to take time off but that it turned out to be a “gift” that allowed her to reflect on the race.

“I am doing great, thank you so much”, she added.

News of Trump’s appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show” – though it appeared to reveal little detail – had earlier flooded the United States airwaves on Wednesday.
