QB Foles lands two-year extension with Rams
“I think what Nick has done early in his career, he’s proven that he can get the job done on the field”, Fisher told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in June.

The St Louis Rams announce that they have signed quarterback Nick Foles to a two year extension which will keep him signed through 2017.
Without throwing a pass for the Rams in the regular season, or even the preseason, the Rams have seen enough in Nick Foles.
Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports1 reported that Foles’ deal is worth more than $12 million annually but the final year of the extension, 2017, can be voided based on performance. Selected in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Foles was entering the final year of his rookie contract and was set to earn $1.5 million in 2015. Talking to his teammates, they really like the way he runs the huddle and manages the offense.
Foles, who was acquired in the Sam Bradford trade in March, was at the top of the list. After warming the bench for Michael Vick in Philadelphia, Foles finally got his chance to prove he’s an NFL quarterback.
Under Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, Foles posted a historic 2013 season, managing 27 touchdowns and just two interceptions as he helped lead Philly to a postseason berth against the New Orleans Saints.

In 11 on 11’s, the pocket collapsed on Foles, which tends to be a theme in St. Louis, and instead of just taking the sack, Foles lofted up one of the easiest balls to intercept that I’ve ever seen.
