QiKU to launch its first smartphone in India this month
Chinese smartphone manufacturer QiKU had unveiled its high-end smartphone QiKU Terra a couple of weeks back in China at a price of $314 (approximately Rs. 20,600).

The smartphone is expected to be launched in India under the brand name QiKU which will have two versions QIKU Terra 808 & QIKU Terra 810. Among the two, the Terra 808 already went on sale in China and the first sale with 35,000 units were went over within eight seconds. It was announced on 26 August 2015. Taking a closer look at the specs of the QiKU Terra 810, the device houses a 6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440p) display with a pixel density of 497ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
On the back, both the device has dual 13MP rear cameras with dual tone LED flash and f/1.8 aperture with which you can focus after capturing the image.
Its software boasts of enhanced security features such as ad blocking, Trojan virus protection, and an anti-fraud system created to intercept spam messages and calls.
Apart from the secure payments feature, the smartphones will allow users remotely disable the lost phones even with no Internet connectivity or with no registered SIM card.
The users can also hide confidential documents on the device using a unique personal code. The new Terra 810 comes with an integrated fingerprint scanner on the back which is fueled by a 3,700mAh battery. The device also includes an internal storage of 64GB.
The QiKU Terra 808 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage and shares the same cameras as its higher-end sibling. It also has an 8MP front-facing camera that can capture detailed selfies.
However, no pricing details have been revealed by the company yet.
Qiku is yet another Chinese brand who wants to start its foray into the Indian market by the end of this month.
