Quaid hinted on Wednesday that he would likely comply with the order to leave Canada and face the criminal charges waiting for him in the United States.

Canadian border officers arrested Quaid this week for fear that he would not comply with orders to leave the country by next Wednesday, reported Fox News.
Deportation can take years after a citizen application is denied, and Quaid was allowed to remain in the country, but he was ordered to check in with border authorities on a regular basis.
Sporting a massive beard and shoulder-length grey hair, Quaid apologized at a subsequent Immigration and Refugee Board hearing and suggested he was ready to return to the United States to deal with an outstanding legal case and ultimately return to Canada.
Quaid, a Texas native, had sought asylum in Canada in 2010, alleging a long-standing plot by former business associates, who he has called “star whackers”, to steal his wealth. Carter said Quaid and his wife also face felony charges for failing to appear at a November 2010 court hearing while out on bail. “I’m perfectly willing to face all that stuff”, Quaid told The Associated Press.
Randy’s wife Evi was granted citizenship as her father is Canadian, but the actor’s status has been in limbo since he was denied permanent residency by officials in 2012.
The actor and his wife have exhibited erratic behavior in recent years, resulting in media coverage ranging from mocking to puzzled.
The Quaids are alleged to have caused more than $5,000 (£3,253) in damage to a property in Santa Barbara, which they claim belongs to them.
Quaid is the older brother of actor Dennis Quaid and is also known for movies such as The Last Picture Show and The Last Detail, for which he received an Oscar nomination.
