Rachel Dolezal Admits She Was “Born White” While Appearing On “The Real”
Rachel Dolezal, the white United States academic and civil rights activist who made headlines around the world for misrepresenting herslef as black, has admitted on US TV that she was “biologically born white to white parents”.

In the next clip Love asks Dolezal is she’s ashamed of her own race.
When “The Real” panel asked her what box she would have checked, she seemed evasive.
When Adrienne Bailon pressed Dolezal on why she doesn’t just say that she’s white but identifies as black.
Dolezal did not respond and instead sat in silence.
The admission came after co-host Jeannie Mai broke it down for Dolezal, explaining why people were having trouble with her self-proclaimed black identity.
Because she kept this facet of herself a secret from the NAACP chapter, Dolezal eventally lost her position as president of the Spokane, Washington chapter, as well as her part-time teaching job at Eastern Washington University.
When Dolezal attempts to answer by alluding to her academic expertise, co-host Tamar Braxton interrupts, demanding, “Which one did you check though?”

“Yeah, but which one did you check, though?” Nothing about this interview was remarkable in any real way, except for the fact that she finally admitted out loud what we have already known for quite a few time: she’s white. Before Dolezal could finish her statement, the hosts and the audience members erupted into applause. “You weren’t born black, so when you say that you’re black, it makes it hard for people to understand where you’re coming from”. If the police stopped me, you could throw that off and show that nice fine hair up under, and you might get away.
