Rachel Roy Steps Out in L.A. Amid Beyoncé Drama
After Lemonade dropped on Saturday night, Roy posted an Instagram that some fans interpreted as her allusion that she might be the subject of some of Queen Bey’s latest lyrics. Roy was allegedly the reason why the dramatic incident took place, as it was widely believed that Jay-Z had been flirting with her at the Met gala, hours before getting into the elevator for an after-party. Fans believe that she is “Becky with the good hair”.

‘I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false, ‘ she tweeted. Live in the light.
Roy also Instagrammed about having “good hair”, which seemed to be a diss, but she insists she didn’t have an inappropriate relationship with the “99 Problems” crooner. “I regret the day I put that ring on”. “There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally”.
Roy has always been rumored to be the cause of the now famous altercation in the elevator between Jay Z and Beyonce’s sister, Solange Knowles, but that’s never been confirmed.
“No truth at all to Jay Z and Rachel rumor”, she wrote.

Initial Twitter chatter started as messages of support for the Formation singer, but the swarm quickly became vitriolic, attacking the Instagram account of Roy’s daughter after the designer made her own private. I would hope that the media sees the real issue here – the issue of cyberbullying – and how it should not be tolerated by anyone. After initially directing speculation towards designer Rachel Roy, they’ve changed tack after the discovery of a pretty interesting Snapchat from none other than Rita Ora.
