Radiohead hope to tour new album next year

An incident involving an “over-enthusiastic translator” has mistakenly led a few Radiohead fans to believe the follow-up to the band’s 2011 album The King Of Limbs in now complete.

Radiohead has played less than 70 shows in the past five years. The truth is that Radiohead has been doing a lot of recording and is in the process of combing through the raw materials to see if there’s anything there. “We hope that soon we will have exactly finish it and start building plans for a next year tour”.

None of this impressed frontman Thom Yorke, who added, “no IT ain’t finished take responsibility for your writing and check your facts occasionally. alright Jonny?”

Meanwhile, AV Club said that this plan of the band seems to be sticking to the old-fashioned way of “delivering music from town to town on an global tour”. The album was put on hold after the band took a break and pursued other projects following an extensive world tour of their last album.

Back in September, the British band reportedly spent the whole month of September recording their ninth studio LP. A new album is creeping along – the band just needs time to get everything in its right place.

One person not in Radiohead working on the album is composer Robert Ziegler.
