Rafael Nadal: Andy Murray should have won more
Nadal returns to action next week in Beijing where rival Novak Djokovic is the top seed. I suffered this year for those months. I’m having a great career with all those people around me so if everything was great with those people for [all] those years, they are not getting worse – that’s my problem.

Rafa says Murray is a good guy – and an honest guy – and for that reason he is welcome to train at his academy any time and he won’t charge him! “He will have had an even better career by the end, but at the same time for his level in general and his opportunities he should have won more”.
Albeit the nerves took a toll on Nadal in the majors throughout this year, the Spaniard is determined to revolutionize his game and add on to his Grand Slam tally.
But last year his form dipped alarmingly, following an injury, enduring a Grand Slam-less season that saw his world rankings dip to No.7. I don’t know if I can win another Grand Slam, I don’t know if I can do it, but I believe I can do it.
“Being honest with you, I suffered this year – especially for those months”, he continued.
With several tournaments kicking off in Asia, Nadal can expect to be fighting again for ATP titles, while his overall focus is now shifting to next season, when he can hope to make it a second Australian Open title – the only grand slam trophy he has just one of.
“Now I feel much better. And at the same time he is one of the most talented players I have ever seen”, Nadal concluded. Not 100% fixed but much better. “[But] the last couple of months I’m enjoying again and I’m not worry about my tennis level”. “I’m enjoying being on the tennis court, enjoying, practicing and enjoying the competition because I don’t have that anxiety anymore”, the 29-year-old said.
