Rafael Nadal strips off in racy new ads for Tommy Hilfiger
While Nadal did lose his shirt, he never got to show off his new underwear.

A few hard months won’t change his loyalty to Toni Nadal.
In the ad, we see Nadal enter a locker room, strip down to his Tommy Hilfiger undies, and then slowy- oh so slowly- peels them off.
The advertising campaign was revealed just after midnight on August 25 through the brand’s social media channels, and will run globally in top print publications, television, online and out-of-home placements, including billboards in key cities worldwide.
No player will have more to prove or be questioned deeper than Rafael Nadal at next week’s US Open. I don’t know if tomorrow I am going to be as good as I was.
Over the past two years, while he has maintained his first-serve percentage, Nadal is losing more points on it and can no longer sustain his prowess on his second serve.
“I will be arrogant if I say I feel ready for the title now after not having a great season”, he said.
The sense of glamour was added to on Tuesday by a tennis match played between Nadal and leading models such as Chanel Iman, Constance Jablonski and Hannah Davis.
“No, I am still Rafa”, he says.
The 29-year-old Spanish star has dropped down the world rankings to eighth place over the past 12 months with illness and injury being followed by a drastic loss of form. I feel I am playing better than in other parts of the season.

Nadal always has an eye on his oldest adversary, and he lifts his famous eyebrow when asked what he thinks of the shot that lit up the Cincinnati tournament: the Federer Charge. “Playing in the streets of New York is not something you do every day”, Nadal told EFE after the event, in which “Glee” actress Jane Lynch took on the dual roles of referee and emcee. He is fantastic without doing that. “Let’s hold working with that aim and with that depth, and I hope that helps and works in a not very lengthy time period”.
